Jon Bernthal shows off his sculpted shirtless torso in a sizzling new trailer for a miniseries adapted from the 1980 classic American Gigolo.

The show seems to be a sequel of sorts to the original movie, https://bvespirita.com/ which starred a young Richard Gere as an escort called Julian Kaye framed for murdering a woman.

In the new trailer, the dashing Julian - now played by Jon, 45 - emerges from jail after being exonerated for the killing and goes right back to work.

At the start of the sneak peek, Julian is seen making love to client after client, flaunting his musclebound physique in the process.

The also provides a treat for fans of the original movie early on by being set to the Blondie song Call Me, the theme for the 1980 feature.

'Since I was a kid, I could always just be this other guy, and he does what he's gotta do,' Julian says in voiceover during a montage of him turning tricks. 

He is half-naked, apparently at work, when the police come for him to arrest him for murder and he attempts unsuccessfully to escape.
